Mary's birth date discrepancies:

Records indicated that Mary was born in 1888. According to the 1910 census, she married Yau Siu in 1905 at age 16. The minimum age for marriage was 18 unless permission was given by the parents. At this time, Nee Moi Pang, Mary's mother was living in the Yau household with two other sons and another daughter.
